Domiciliary Care

Seashells provides a service making it possible for people with learning disabilities, older people and those with a diagnosis of dementia to stay at home, and not go unnecessarily into a residential or nursing home.

They are surrounded by their belongings and have friends or family to visit whenever they wish. We actively encourage people to do as much for themselves minimising dependency and maintaining independence.

Choices

Seashells respects each person as an individual by listening to their views and encouraging them to make choices about how we deliver their care. Wherever possible, we provide the service in the manner that they wish. Each individual will be fully consulted and given their own Care Plan.

High Standards of Care

All Care Staff are appropriately qualified to deliver the highest standards of care. We actively support our staff career development, through training and support from management and senior support staff. We recognise adequate training provision is key to our continuing success as high quality home care and support service provider.

We will co-operate closely with social workers, occupational therapists, doctors, and relatives to ensure that people are served in the best way possible. All necessary Health and Safety steps are taken to protect people and staff alike.
